SHIPPING POLICY

Shipment Processing Time
All stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days of receipt. We package and ship your order as soon as we get payment authorization and verification. If necessary, a Singer representative will reach out to you to confirm order details prior to shipment. Delivery of your order is subject to item availability, warehouse location, and the shipping method selected for the order. When the order has been processed and shipped, confirmation will be sent to the email address on file. Non-stock or special-order products may have additional lead and/or processing times and will be confirmed via a Singer representative after your order is placed. If you would like to know this information before you place your order you can call 1-833-880-4206 during normal business hours. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Free shipping is offered on select items, as indicated on our website. We currently do not ship outside the continental US.

Standard charges include ground shipping to commercial facilities. If you choose to upgrade to 2-Day or Next Day Delivery, your order must be received by 9:00 am EST so that we can fully process the order to meet the carrier’s shipment deadline. If your order is placed after 9:00 am EST, processing and shipping may be delayed

Delivery Services
Singer offers shipping to non-residential addresses throughout the contiguous United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and International 3PL's. Delivery of your order is subject to item availability, warehouse location and the shipping method selected for the order.

When the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation email will be sent to the address on file. It is the customer’s responsibility to receive items from the carrier and set them in place. If needed, additional delivery services are also available. These include liftgate service, inside delivery, white glove delivery, and local delivery. A Singer representative will call you to discuss your needs, as these services may incur additional charges.

Liftgate Service
Liftgate service allows for easy delivery at locations without a loading dock. If you don’t have a dock and don’t opt for liftgate service, you will need to arrange for unloading at your location. If it is later determined that a liftgate is required, you will be responsible for additional liftgate and redelivery fees, as needed. Note that liftgate service involves unloading the shipment to the curb, not to the inside of your facility.

Inside Delivery
If you need your order delivered to the inside of your facility, opt for inside delivery. Items will not be uncrated or set in place. A Singer representative will call you to discuss the logistics of the delivery, including door and entry dimensions. If the order cannot be delivered due to space limitations, it may be subject to return and you will be responsible for the associated fees.

White Glove Delivery
White glove delivery service is designed for products that need more attention than regular parcels due to their size, value, or fragility. If needed, a shipping agent will call to schedule a delivery appointment within a four-hour timeframe. Upon delivery, trained professionals will unload your item from the truck, bring it into your facility, and unpack it.  Removal of packaging material, installation, and setting the equipment in place is the responsibility of the buyer.

Note that white glove service typically adds five to seven business days to your order's transit time and includes 30 minutes of on-site time. If needed, additional on-site time is available for a fee.

Local Delivery
We may offer the option of local delivery via our private fleet for non-residential locations within the vicinity of our Elverson, PA or Paterson, NJ distribution centers (approximately 120 miles). These deliveries will be made by our professional team using Singer trucks. We offer tailgate delivery, with liftgate service and inside delivery available for an additional fee. If you are interested in this service and within our local delivery area, please contact us.

Returns
If a product misses the mark, we will find something else that surpasses your expectations. You are allowed to change your mind – we all do from time to time! If something you order isn’t as expected, you can return most items within 10 business days of delivery.

Start the return process by reaching out to your dedicated Singer representative or by completing our return request form at www.singerequipment.com/returns. We want you to be completely happy with your Singer orders and we are committed to doing what it takes to get you there, every single time!

Damages
We recommend that you use the following procedure when receiving deliveries from Singer, either LTL or on a Singer truck. It will help ensure that orders are exactly as expected and, if ever they are not, give us the information needed for corrective action.

  1. Verify the number of packages delivered against the quantity on your packing list.
  2. Unpack your order to inspect for damage, both visible and concealed, while the driver is still present. As you check the products, note any potential damage on the packing list/bill of lading.
  3. If your order is as expected, sign the packing list/bill of lading and enjoy your new products!
  4. If there is damage, ensure that everything is noted on the packing list/bill of lading. We ask that you save all shipping cartons and inner packaging and take pictures of the damage.
  5. For small parcel or LTL shipments, you will then need to file a claim with the shipment carrier. For shipments on a Singer truck, call us at 833-880-4206. We’re happy to assist you with this process.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.

Singer Equipment Company will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

Missing Items or Shipments
If any part of your order is missing or incorrect, please contact us within five business days of receipt. Please have your order number, shipping information and tracking number on hand so we can assist in finding or replacing the missing items.

If you didn't receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please let us know as soon as possible by calling us at 833-880-4206. We will file a claim with the shipping carrier and replace or refund your order as needed.

Redelivery and Reconsignment
If the freight carrier attempts delivery and is unable to deliver for reasons that are within your control, redelivery fees will apply. If you need to change the delivery address (reconsignment), let us know immediately. Once a shipment is in transit, reconsignment will carry additional fees, dependent on the shipping carrier.

Governing Law. These Terms of Use shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without respect to its conflict of laws principles.

Arbitration; No Class Action. To the fullest extent allowed by law, neither you nor we will seek to have a dispute heard as a class action or in any other proceeding in which either party acts or proposes to act in a representative capacity. Further, to the fullest extent allowed by law, no arbitration or proceeding can be combined with another without the prior written consent of all parties to the arbitrations or proceedings.

You and we agree to arbitrate all disputes that are not resolved informally, except disputes relating to the ownership or enforcement of intellectual property rights. This includes all disputes regarding any current, past of future purchase or event, between you and us regarding our products, this Agreement or this Website, and whether the claims is based on contract, tort, warranty, statute, regulation, or other legal or equitable basis. We both agree by this undertaking that the arbitrator will have the exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability or enforceability of these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy or the formation of this Agreement, including the arbitrability of any dispute and any claim that all or any part of this Agreement is or are void or voidable. You are waiving any and all rights you may have to litigate a dispute in court before a judge or jury.

If you or we have a dispute with the other or this Website or our Agreement, notice must first be sent to the other party, including:

  • name, address, and contact information of the party giving the notice
  • the facts that are the basis of the dispute
  • the remedy sought (e.g. a refund).

For notices to us regarding a dispute, they must be emailed to: [insert address].

If we have a claim against you, we will notify you by the contact information you have provided to us.

We and you will then use good faith efforts to resolve through informal negotiations the dispute. If, despite these good faith efforts, we cannot reach an agreed resolution within 60 days, then, you or we may commence an arbitration proceeding. Arbitration will be conducted in Chester county, Pennsylvania, or if you and we agree remotely.

Arbitration will be administered by one arbitrator. The arbitrator may award damages to you individually as a court could, including declaratory or injunctive relief, but only to the extent required to satisfy your individual claim.
