M.Tucker had to design, procure, and install a large Cook/Chill system in a hospital kitchen. Complicating the project was the requirement that the kitchen’s 24/7 operations not be affected.
An initial meeting with the general contractor and the hospital's purchasing, engineering, and foodservice staff was held to set the project’s scope and determine each parties’ responsibilities. M. Tucker's engineers worked with the manufacturer to overcome the facility’s unique design challenges in order to ensure operational efficiency while controlling the project’s cost. M.Tucker handled the installation of the equipment and connection of the refrigeration system, all without disruption to kitchen operations.
